My goal for this project is to provide the students at Bing Elementary School with the most innovative math instruction despite the difficult circumstances schools are facing this school year.
The materials provided through this grant will allow our students, whether brick and mortar or eLearners, to find success in math! The Math in Practice School Bundle will provide materials so that I, as the Math Coach, can collaborate with my math teachers, helping them to dive deeper into the standards in which they teach and giving them access to the most innovative, target strategies to help our students find success with the math standards. The Boom Card Curriculum License and points will allow all of our math teachers and students to have access to amazing virtual resources to make sure that learning is engaging and successful. The program provides virtual activities targeted to meet the specific standards for the each grade level. It makes their learning relevant and fun!
As a math coach in an Achievement School where 97% of our students are academically disadvantaged, I want to make sure they have every advantage in becoming amazing mathematicians. I want to see our students successful on the state exams as well as in life. By better preparing and equipping the math teachers at our school, I can ensure they will do everything they can to help our students find that success. In addition, by adding an amazing virtual program to our classrooms, we can provide more targeted, engaging, and effective instruction, even if students are learning virtually. These materials can make sure "Math and Success Add Up!" at Bing Elementary School!
The 655.23 is to pay for the Math in Practice School Pack which provides standard analysis and correlated activities for all grade levels. The Boom Cards Curriculum License and Points will provide a license for 25 teachers and up to 400 students to utilize this virtual resource.
