To help all of my students achieve on-grade-level mastery in reading, by the end of the year.
This project will allow me to try to fill the learning gaps for my ESE, migrant classroom. On my roster, many of my students have been marked below grade level and I have several students who are ESE. This project will give me the opportunity to meet the needs of my learners during our ELA Skills Block.
During our Skills Block, my students will be rotating through independent stations (word work, accountable independent reading, writing, and fluency), while I will be working with a small group on a phonics based lesson.
My expected outcome is to get all of my students to make at least one grade level gain. My personal goal is make more than one year to help my students get closer to being on grade level, before going to third grade.
Through this project, I will be able to have hundreds of students benefit through the non-consumable materials. I will have four teachers assisting with small groups in my classroom, who will be benefiting from this project.
Items 1 and 4 are consumable and I need 2 sets.
Items 2, 3, 5-10 are not consumable and will be able to help students learn for years to come.
