Project Goal

The goal of this Zoob Builders project is to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) within the classroom using hands on minds on activities.

How Project Benefits Students

Zoob builders are used as on hands on activities for students to brainstorm, observe, draw up blueprints, succeed and fail, and grow as engineers.

Zoobs can be used with several different units in our text: energy, the engineering process, matter, forces and motion, and technology.

The hope is to have enough kits so 1-2 students can work with them With the way are classes need to social distance, I feel it is important to work in smaller groups.

Expected Outcome(s)

My hope is that through "playing," creating, and building students apply their STEM knowledge and grow academically without just using textbooks.

In my experience, students learn better by actually seeing, feeling, and thinking through their projects.
