Find It Fund It Florida - Hillsborough Education Foundation

Kenly is revamping and relaunching our PBIS system. We have adapted our reach to include both e-learning and brick and mortar students. We are focusing on our ROAR values: Respect; Own your actions; Always do your best; and Responsibility. We have implemented a digital point system which allows teachers to track points that will be automatically added to each student's "bank" which they can save, or spend however they like! We are requesting financial assistance to purchase items for our KenlyMart (aka KMart). We want to have sought after items to incentivize our students to participate and learn social emotional skills that will provide long term life skills.

Project Goal

Kenly is revamping and relaunching our PBIS system. We have adapted our reach to include both e-learning and brick and mortar students. We are focusing on our ROAR values: Respect; Own your actions; Always do your best; and Responsibility. We have implemented a digital point system which allows teachers to track points that will be automatically added to each student's "bank" which they can save, or spend however they like! We are requesting financial assistance to purchase items for our KenlyMart (aka KMart). We want to have sought after items to incentivize our students to participate and learn social emotional skills that will provide long term life skills.

How Project Benefits Students

Kenly has the wonderful opportunity to engage children from many walks of life. While we engage their minds and get them focused on learning, we also want to produce kind, considerate and respectful students! We feel our PBIS initiative will work towards providing a sense of community and encourage responsible, respectful and proud young men and women.

Expected Outcome(s)

We will be watching our data as it comes in and will be working closely with our Tier 1 PBIS coaches to encourage fidelity. We have trained our staff and are so excited to bring this new and improved plan to our school. Kenly's school motto this year is to be A for Awesome - we want our awesomeness to be threaded throughout every aspect of our school, starting with our students.

Detailed Cost Summary

We want our students to take pride in their education. Many of our students like to purchase neat pens and notebooks that they can use in class. Some of our students only receive hand-me-downs or free items. Providing our students with prizes that they can purchase will continue to incentivize our students to remain engaged in our PBIS program.
