PTA Equity Partnership - $1,998.96
The goal of this project is to provide resources to teachers and students to support character education and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) in our students.
These requested materials are meant to support our population (Title 1 students) as they cope with these uncertain times. This project will support Florida Standards across the curriculum, as students who have a healthy emotional basis will be able to focus more freely on their academic work. We are requesting a one-time purchase of 108 books and videos to supplement our media center collection. We do not have adequate state or district funds to purchase these books.
By providing resources to promote good character and emotional health, our expectation is that students will be able to increase their academic achievement in all areas. We appreciate support for our project.
These books and DVDs will be ordered from Mackin, a district-approved library book vendor.
