Mosaic - $434.00
My goal is to get more science tools into my students hands. Students need to experience science in order to make connections.
Students will be able to use science tools during different investigations. They will be able to compare their results with out students which will open up a dialog to compare their data points. By having access to a variety of science tools, a whole new world is opened to students.
SC.3.N.1.1 (Links to an external site.)Raise questions about the natural world, investigate them individually and in teams through free exploration and systematic investigations, and generate appropriate explanations based on those explorations.
SC.3.N.1.2 (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.) Compare the observations made by different groups using the same tools and seek reasons to explain the differences across groups.
SC.3.N.1.3 (Links to an external site.) Keep records as appropriate, such as pictorial, written, or simple charts and graphs, of investigations conducted
Students will use science tools to aid in their science investigations. Students will collect and analyze data during their investigations while using the science tools. Students will compare their data with other students and discuss similarities and differences.
