Project Goal

The materials we are seeking to buy are a GermGuardian 22" True HEPA Air Purifier, with UV Sanitizer & Odor Reduction, 2-pack Large Rooms 775 sq. ft.so it can cover our 700 sq ft classroom and that we can do our best to clean the air.

How Project Benefits Students

On 11/18/2021 The Governor signed four bills passed yesterday during the Special Session which effect Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS). Under House Bill 1, school districts can no longer require a mask mandate even with a parent “opt-out” form. Therefore, effective immediately, HCPS will no longer implement a mask mandate. Parents may continue to have their child wear a face covering at their discretion.
While the coronavirus numbers in Florida are soaring, students will be learning in small spaces in the classroom with approximately 27-30 students in each classroom so we will need an air purifier to help keep our air filtered and help keep us all healthy.

My Students
In my gifted classroom, the students come from diverse backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: They come to school to work hard and achieve the ambitious goals that they set for themselves.
Their dedication to the pursuit of knowledge is truly impressive. I am so proud of them each and every day! They are enthusiastic and enjoy working on self-driven passion projects.
Whether it be science, English, math, or social studies, my students come to school ready to learn.
