The goal of my project is to increase student achievement in their problem-solving abilities and the four C’s of stem communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking while having fun!
Students will participate in design challenges, coding challenges while exploring math and science concepts. My students will use the 4 C’s of STEM to problem solve and over come challenges.
Because of this grant my students will become better communicators who are able to work in a group setting and to reach a goal. They will also become more flexible thinkers and development Perseverance when problem solving.
Botley 2.0 coding robots used to practice coding and math/science standards.
Elementary STEM Teachers membership has 100s of design challenges with reflection sheets.
HEXBUG Flash Nano Play sets are fun ways to explore force and motion with a robot.
Playdough will be used daily to model vocabulary words and build models.
