Our goal is to get individual piano keyboards into the hands of all children in music class.
Students will get a chance to learn piano and compose their own music! With the help of these 24 keyboards' students will learn to play simple songs and accompaniment. The keyboards will allow music teachers Julie Greene and Lilli Elliot to teach a multitude of music concepts with keys such as improvisation and composition but most importantly students will increase their love and knowledge of music through play!
K-2 Students will be able to play simple 3-5 note melodies and songs on keyboard.
2-3 Students will be able to accompany songs on the keyboard.
4-5 Students will be able to improvise and compose music on the keyboard.
