The purpose of this project is to implement a phonics program named "Secret Stories" in our K-2 classrooms in order to improve school wide phonics skills and support our struggling readers.
This project would have a tremendous impact on our students who are behind in phonics and phonological awareness skills. We hope to fill in the gaps and set our students up for success by using this program. Below is a description of Secret Stories taken from their web site...

The expected outcome from this program is to increase phonics and phonological awareness skills, improve writing skills, and improve decoding and comprehension skills in grades k-2.
The cost of this program includes 12 classroom kits, 4 sets of classroom porta pics and 4 sets of flashcards. Included in the cost is a 10% shipping and handling fee that is tacked onto orders.
