Gibsonton Elementary has not had any concerts in over 5 years. I began my journey at Gibsonton last year and would love to add ensembles and concerts for families to attend. We just received a portable sound system through a music grant but now we are lacking microphones to enhance the sound.
The microphones will be used at all school wide assemblies on campus (Veteran's Day, Field Day, Presentations, Concerts). We also use microphones for our car rider dismissal and our only working microphone is currently used solely for that purpose.
Having 4 microphones along with cables long enough to set up for concerts would provide access for people to hear the ensembles as well as enhance any another on campus events.
