Detailed Cost Summary

45 atlases=$605.70

The book is set up in Units of study-covering ancient history all the way to the 20th C. The maps, graphs and tables included are excellent visual aids. One map for example is a map of the Asian continent titled "Tang and Sung China 618-1279)" that includes the Silk Road, capital cities, invasions, the Tibetan culture region, and the outline of China today.
Included are color images of significant cultural items related to ancient and modern civilizations.
In working with level 1 and level 2 readers as well as English learners the use of distribution maps will help students have more to practice historical thinking skills ( development and processes, sourcing and citation, claims and evidence in sources, contextualization, making connections and argumentation) and Reasoning Processes (comparison, causation and Continuity and Change over time).

This Atlas of World History goes beyond a modern world atlas of continents, country boundaries and capital cities)
It reads more like a textbook ancillary book.
