Math should be fun and engaging. Teachers and students need to have access to all available resources to ensure this happens daily. Our goal is to provide manipulatives and instructional materials for all K-5 students to bring the joy and fun back into the classroom. With the items purchased with the grant we will be able to do just that.
Students will have access to learning materials and manipulatives to ensure a better operational understanding of mathematic concepts at an early age. Once kids have a solid foundation we can then add in more complex skills and concepts to push them to new heights.
Students will have a better understanding of concepts taught in whole group. Student math fluency will improve. Student engagement will increase. Students understanding of foundational math skills will increase.
