Project Goal

To enrich the Art room with leadership through reading. I would love students to be able to lead the classroom discussions and learn about different artists through books and close reads to inspire their artistic process.

How Project Benefits Students

Students deserve the opportunity to learn about many different artists and cultures so that they can relate their stories and feel a sense of connection to the world around them. Allowing a diverse and rich knowledge through books and art will help students find a sense of community as well as help them grow emotionally by working out their feelings through art.

Expected Outcome(s)

425 students will have a strong sense of classroom community as well as to the outside world with a way to express themselves in the art room. I'm excited for students to want to express themselves from inspiration from amazing and culturally diverse artists.
