My goal is to complete my world drumming set so that a class of 25 students would all be able to play drums at the same time.
My students absolutely love music, but not all of my students can play drums at the same time which cuts down on the amount of hands on opportunities they can have in my classroom. This is especially true when I teach double classes where I might see 45 students at the same time and even then they cannot share due to lack of instruments. With these new drums, more students will be able to experience multicultural lessons at the same time.
With three new tubanos, all of my students (including double classes up to 50) will be able to experience world drumming in my classroom. We will also be able to have more performance opportunities at the school and community level.
