We would like to add 3 new camera's with lens kits to our photography and journalism program so we can take pictures around our school and the events that happen on a daily basis ranging from classroom activities to sports.
Jefferson has heavily relied on outside photography companies to help capture the moments that take place throughout the school year. This project benefits students through them being able to take the photography through their own perspective about the school and the events that take place. It let's our staff maximize their skills and harnesses their potential as future photographers and journalist and inspires the students to be involved and hands on within their school community.
The entire school would benefit from this because students will be able to take digital pictures during school events and athletics so that they can combine them and put together a well thought out yearbook. It helps us write our own story through the students perspective and give lasting memories.
The cost of the camera kits are for 3 Canon - EOS Rebel T7 DSLR Video Two Lens Kit with EF-S 18-55mm and EF 75-300mm Lenses as well as 3 SanDisk-Ultra PLUS 128 GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Cards. Shipping is included so all of the funds go directly toward the purchase of the camera's and memory cards.
