Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Amgen Foundation - $1,213.83
Create an area for our students to enjoy reading outside the Media Center. Through STEAM children will design and create a garden using recycled tires. With an area to sit and read or relax watching the wildlife that is around.
Each grade will be given a part of the garden to design and create. This is a great opportunity for students to work together and design how their part of the garden will look like. Students will learn about types of flowers that grow well in Florida and choose accordingly. This will be an area that each grade level will take care of their section throughout the year.
The students will learn to work together and use Math and Science to design and build the garden. That will be able to enjoy and use throughout the year. Different animals will be created and painted by each grade level. Also a tiered tire garden in the middle.
