Project Goal

The goal of this project is to create a Makerspace where kindergarten students can be creative in STEM and the arts.

How Project Benefits Students

The Makerspace will be available to students year-round, both during free time and during assigned design challenges. The students will be able to use the scientific process to plan, design, and build their projects. The students can build projects on their own or collaborate with others. Also, the Makerspace will allow students to explore various art mediums and techniques.

Expected Outcome(s)

The expected outcome is that students will be able to express their creativity in both science and art. While the initial student impact is 18-20 students, many of the products are reusable. This Makerspace can help boost the creativity of students for years to come.

Detailed Cost Summary

All of these products will be purchased on Amazon with the shipping cost approximately $18.
