Project Goal

The goal of this project is bringing stem alive in the classroom. So often the stem materials at school sites have to be checked out or borrowed. With these materials the class will have stem activities for everyday use. These materials will allow the to use the materials daily as they come into the classroom. My goal is to have stem bins placed on each table for morning work, so the students can explore the activities in each bin. The bins will rotate each day giving the students the opportunity to come in contact with each bin. The goal is after a few weeks the activities will be switched in the bins giving the students exposure to additional activities using the stem materials.
 

 

How Project Benefits Students

The project will benefit the class by allowing the class to interact with activities that can be used across curriculum. Stem activities can also be used during math time. The students will have the ability to use the materials during any given lesson. These materials will allow the students the ability to explore stem at their own pace giving them daily exposure to hands on materials for exploration.  

 

Expected Outcome(s)

The expected outcome is for the kids to explore, grow and develop a love for stem and different stem activities.
