The goal of this project is to encourage creativity, problem-solving, collaboration with others, and experiment with scientific and math principles while also improving fine motor skills.
1. STEM make learning fun.
2. Build confidence and skills in science and math.
3. Encourage experimentation and creativity.
4. Promote abilities to problem solve.
5. STEM allows the students to learn and apply mathematics/science principles in a stress-free, low-stakes method. Some examples of standards that this project allows student to practice include: SC.K.N.1.4 Observe and create a visual representation of an object which includes its major features, SC.K.P.12.1 Investigate that things move in different ways, such as fast, slow, etc., and MA.K.GR.1 Identify, compare and compose two- and three-dimensional figures.
100% of students will be able to improve fine motor skills, collaboration skills, and experiment with science and mathematics principles using real-life objects.
