My goal is to create phonics games to compliment our UFLI phonics program using cardstock and lamination pouches.
I would like to print and laminate games that will encourage students to practice their phonics skills they are learning during independent and partner reading time. These activities can be reused every year once they are created.
This school year, we are implementing a new phonics program called UFLI. These games would compliment the lessons being taught in class and will encourage students to read more.
I plan to help multiple teachers create these games to help in their classroom, so more than just my classroom will benefit. I hope to reach 250 students and 12 teachers.
I expect students to improve their i-Ready scores by 20% using these games to reinforce their learning.
The cost of items would include 13 packages of Thermal Laminating Pouches, 4 packages of White Card Stock and 2 packages of Full Sheet sticker paper to help label the containers.
