Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Suncoast Credit Union - $445.75
Kindergarten is usually a child’s first experience with science, engineering and technology. My goal is to create excitement and enthusiasm for our future leaders through hands on learning. With the materials provided the class will be able to explore architecture and engineering. We will use the materials to conduct many long term investigations throughout the year, such as making edible glass and learning how plants breathe.
The use of STEM materials has been shown to increase a child’s critical thinking and problem solving skills. They will be able to work alone and with groups which will aid in creativity and social skills. This project will not only benefit the current class but my future classes as well. The materials will stay in the room and be available for years to come.
Students will be able to use hands on learning to expand their knowledge and love for these new subjects. They will learn to work together and evolve both academically and mentally. Through investigations they’ll be able to make hypothesis, infer, and apply their knowledge.
The summary includes all the cost of requested materials.
