My goal is help promote literacy in our classroom. I have a lot of my students who do not know letters and sounds and also ones who are working on becoming readers. I would like to add some literacy centers to our classroom to help engage my students in learning and help promote reading in our Kindergarten classroom.
My students will all benefit from these centers as I plan to use them during our literacy block while I am working with my small groups. I would like them to have access to materials that would be engaging as well as fun and educational.
I expect my students to become better learners and also to help my students who are learning to read become better readers. I am going to try to keep them engaged in learning when they are working in small groups and staying on task.
