This project's goal is to provide more SLAM books to my students. With such a wonderful collection of books for this school year, students need more books at their fingertips. There is a limited supply of books in my classroom and in our library. T
This project will surely benefit my students. Having the books readily available to read and share with each other will be fantastic.
Right now, we have 6 books that were donated at the beginning of the year. Obviously, six books is not enough for the 42 kids I am teaching. This set of books will provide more opportunity for the kids to read and earn their brag tags.
I am hoping the kids get the "fever" to read the SLAM books and earn their brag tags as several of their classmates have. With the extra books, this can certainly help in making it happen. Also, having the opportunity to read more of the books will help when our school holds the SLAM Showdown and have a better understanding of the purpose for the showdown. All in all, I want them to READ!!!
I would love two copies of each, but I will appreciate a set! :)
