Project Goal

To provide students with the framework to stay on track with their math goals and meet their math benchmarks. My focus is small group instruction. So the measurable data will based on the students grade level benchmarks. My goal is for each student to make a 10% growth on the end of the year benchmark assessment. I will be using measurable data to drive instruction in small groups. The materials will be used to aid student learning by allowing them to explore through activities that will be tailored to meet their individual needs.  

 

How Project Benefits Students

This project will allow me to educate the students on the multiple ways of doing various forms of math. Since education is more inclusive, we must be familiar with every method. I will be able to give the students bite-sized pieces to help them learn math skills. It will boost their confidence. I will be able to specifically tailor lessons for every student in the class. The materials are grade level specific these are activities that the students can work on in small group to improve, remediate even advance on with their grade level bench marks. 

 

Expected Outcome(s)

The students will feel way more accomplished in math lessons by breaking the enormous subject into to bite-sized pieces.
