Provide my amazing students with full-functioning equipment (i.e. oven/stove and refrigerator) for their school-based business and life skills training program.

My class is not a typical education experience. Our students range from 17-22 and most have completed their high school graduation requirements. Here, I teach my students how to run their own school-based business (Just Sew with It Cafe) where they sell homemade items such as cookies, and dog treats and sell prepackaged snacks and beverages to staff and students within the school.
In addition to their business, the students learn daily living skills which include a lot of meal prep and cooking.
Our refrigerator is very old and falling apart on the inside. Some of the shelves are actually held together with duct tape, and we no longer have some of the drawers or door shelves! On our stove top, our oven door handle keeps coming off and at least once or twice a month parts of the door fall off!
With new and safe appliances, my students will be able to store items in the refrigerator at the proper temperature and without fear of shelves falling down, and cook items both on the stove and in the oven safely without fear of the oven door falling off and all of the burners actually working.
The students will be able to continue running their school-based business, Just Sew With It Cafe, and work on their adult daily living skills safely and with confidence. With fully functioning working equipment, the students will be able to increase the amount of homemade items they can produce with a new stove/oven in addition, they will be able to store the beverages and perishable goods in the refrigerator/freezer.
