Project Goal

To implement a resilience program to help kindergarten students develop resilience through hard work, assertiveness etc. I plan to use read aloud strategy with reflection questions to check students' understanding of different skills from the book.

Category

School-Wide, Grade-Level, Or Class Events/Programs - Parent Nights, Honor Roll Celebrations, EOY Events, etc.

How Project Benefits Students

Students will learn ten skills to help them become resilient through exposure to read aloud and participation in reflection questions. Since resilience is a life skill, students will have the opportunity to learn the skill early and hopefully continue to use it throughout their lives.

Expected Outcome(s)

Students will become resilient embracing and practicing the ten skills they are taught.
