How Project Benefits Students

This is the third year of the P.B.I.S Ambassador program at Liberty Middle School. This is a school-wide initiative to improve behavior and school moral. Our code of conduct is: P.R.I.D.E. Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dependability and Encouragement. The Ambassador program is fully funded by grants and neighborhood donations. This program is run by the Ambassadors with the guidance and Support of Mrs. Sutton.
The incentive room provides the school with a place to incentivize all students. The Ambassadors run the room by maintaining the consoles and interactive games, supervising peers, and cleaning after each usage. They participate on all school events by volunteering their time and expertise. They learn how to fix items that are broken and what it takes to replace them if need to be. The program promotes responsibility, ownership, school pride, and business management skills by also up keeping our secondary location, the school store: The ambassador's run the store, keeping inventory, and do all school currency transactions.
The third layer of school involvement is to continue encouraging student entrepreneurship initiatives by allowing the students the freedom to come up with projects base learning and aid them to fulfil their vision where the whole school benefits from it.
Liberty Middle School serves 53% of underprivilege children whose only ability to provide for themselves is purchasing materials or snacks at the school store using their earn school currency by displaying school P.R.I.D.E.

Expected Outcome(s)

Our expected outcome is to be able to open the school store 6 times in an academic year. We want to have the most in demand Items for Purchase that incentivized the students to earn the currency and use at the store. We also need to replace the broken furniture from the 2023-2024 school year. Our students crave socially involved game interaction and love to play outside. We expect to provide them with the tools to play outside during their lunch incentive time with the purchase of various gaming balls.
Lastly, last year the team of Ambassadors decided to purchase and Ice cone machine that they will run during each store openings, but we are in need of the supplies to run it consistently during each store opening.
If we average a $200 dollar trip to a wholesale store such as Sam's Club 6 times in a year to supplement the donation bank provided by parental support, and the monthly trips to the HEF foundations for school supplies. We will be able to meet our goal to open the store 6 times this school year and support our students better and their needs.
The success of the program is evaluated by a decrease of 5% of written referrals offences in comparison from 23-24 school year and improvement on reducing tardies by 15% from 23-24 school year.
