Goal

As my school's technology coordinator, I am requesting updated iPad cases for our two iPad carts. We would need 45 hard foam protective cases.  

What will be done with my students

My classroom is full with technology integration. In my classroom, students use the iPads to research, create, and enrich their learning activities in all subject areas. I would like to have more protective iPads cases so that all students could implement more projects school-wide.

Our school is a primary elementary. We have PreK-2nd graders. We have a high ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) population and we are a Title I school. Our school has a very family friendly environment. We are a small school in which teachers and students know each other. Our students are eager to learn and they are led by passionate teachers.

Students will use the iPad cases so that they can freely move about to use the iPads to their fullest potential. Our current cases are thin and do not provide a lot of protection for accidents that happen with little hands.
 

Benefits to my students

With updated cases, students will be able to lift, move, and roam about the classroom with the equipment. Teachers can create more rigorous projects that do not limit student mobility. For example, if doing an assignment about the school playground, students could take the iPads to the playground to photograph equipment to compare and contrast or create a video to tell a story.

Your donations would be helpful to our students because the iPad cases would be used by almost all of our students. Students will enjoy the freedom in using the iPads in more productive projects. Teachers will be very grateful knowing that the iPads are more protected by upgraded cases. It will also help decrease the amount of funds spent on repairing broken ipads due to accidents.

Our school needs 45 updated iPad covers so that we can utilize the iPads more productively. Currently, our covers are very flimsy and students cannot freely use the iPad. 

Budget Narrative

Each iPad costs $24.70. For 45 iPads it costs a total of $1,111.50.
