Goal
To receive 120 "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" novels to teach to my class.
What will be done with my students
This novel will be the focus of a literature unit toward the end of the year.
Benefits to my students
Students will be exposed to a classic novel (by Mark Twain) that will create an enriching experience of an author's use of dialect, dialogue, and symbolism (universal messages) in literature. Also, this is a high interest novel that has historical context in which I can bring in outside nonfiction articles to enrich the meaning of the novel.
