Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Matthew Huro - $25.00
Microphone cables can be cumbersome for our students. Trying to properly coil a cable when class change is imminent can be tricky, even more so when you are across the campus. In an effort to streamline our students' production process and to make our student feel and look more professional, we would like to expand our equipment repertoire to include wireless lapel microphones. The goal is to give students a freedom of mobility, quality audio, and an ease of setting-up, as well as the experience of using a variety of equipment.
Students will be able to use the wireless lapels in a variety of settings from morning news shows, interviews, documentaries, and even some instances of commercials and short films. It will give them options of moving through shots without having to worry about tripping over mic cables or being directly tethered to the camera.
Students will be able to have better audio, quicker set-up and take-down times while filming, and more mobility, enabling students to make more creative videos and shots when filming.
