Goal

To provide students with headphones to assist those students who struggle with reading be successful in academics. They will have the opportunity to listen to the audio which will assist them with reading the online text book, participate in the class Nearpods, powerpoints and notes.

What will be done with my students

A few of the lessons that will utilize this are: SS.7.CG.1.10 Compare the viewpoints of the Federalists and Anti-Federalists regarding ratification of the US Constitution, including the Bill of Rights. SS.7.CG.1.11 Define the Rule of Law and recognize it's influence on the development of legal, political and governmental systems in the US. SS.7.CG.3.15 Analyze the advantages of capitalism and the free market in the US over government controlled economic systems in regard to economic freedom and raising the standard of living for citizens. SS.7.CG.3.1 Analyze the advantages of the US constitutional republic over other forms of government in safeguarding liberty, freedom, and a representative government. SS.7.CG.3.12 Compare the US and Florida Constitutions 

 

Benefits to my students

Understanding material without trying to decode academic words that are above their reading level. This will increase the comprehension of the units.  

 

Budget Narrative

Classroom pack of 5, need about 6 packs for an entire class. Cost is $45.99 * 6 = $275.94
