What will be done with my students

Students will be supporting our shows by creating costumes, props, and set pieces as well as designing lights and sound. Our mainstage musical of the year is The Addams Family amongst other productions! This particular show has an immense number of technical needs including elaborate sets, lighting, costumes, and props. This is a wonderful opportunity to integrate technology with the arts. In addition, we will have students in various stage crew leadership positions (Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Assistant Director, Assistant Music Director, Dance Captain, Publicity Coordinator, Props Coordinator, Costume Coordinator, Lights and Sound Coordinators, Hair/Makeup). Our students will need the tools to be successful in their leadership positions.

Benefits to my students

Our students will explore the technical aspects of the show by using critical thinking skills and collaboration when creating and designing.
