Our Film Club is in our 3rd year and has grown! We have been creating short films and are now in need of professional camera equipment.

In addition, we are hoping to create light projections and purchase additional lights for our mainstage musical, The Addams Family.

Lastly, I recently attended a professional development for lights through Volusia County and would like to purchase lights to support our technical lights lesson in our Honors Class.

Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 100

Thanks to your generous donation we were able to find creative lighting solutions for our production of The Addams Family and Prism Concert.  In addition, we were able to purchase film equipment for our Film Club.

Our lightboard does not work at this time, so the purchase of the par light stands helped our audience see our performers during The Prism Concert.  Furthermore, we have collaborated with Timbercrest Elementary students and we were able to purchase tree branches, candles, stars, and moons so they could illuminate the auditorium during some of the The Addams Family scenes.

Lastly, our Film Club is in it's 3rd year.  Our students have been working very hard to film short films.  We have three projects underway.  We are excited to use the professional film equipment to help support our films.
