Goal
The goal is to provide first grade students at Deltona Lakes Elementary a hands-on-tie-dye experience that teaches color theory, pattern making, symmetry, and personal expression. Students will be able to continue to shine bright throughout the school year at house parties, field trips and school events.

What will be done with my students
The "Tie-Dye Creations" grant will provide a vibrant and engaging art experience for first graders at Deltona Lakes Elementary. The project will enable students to design and create their own unique t-shirt, combining artistic expression and hands-on learning. Students will explore color theory, patterns, and work together to make a personalized item they can proudly wear. This will also include a tie-dye reveal day, this will be the day of our first field trip.
Benefits to my students
This project will bring color, creativity, and excitement to Deltona Lakes Elementary by providing our first grade students with the materials for this memorable experience that will be a year long keep sake students will wear proudly. Students will not only learn about color theory, patterns and teamwork but they will also celebrate their individuality.
This grant will foster creativity, teamwork and school spirit, making it a valuable addition to our education program.

Budget Narrative
Tie Dye kits for each classroom to allow for each student to tie-dye their own shirt.
extra rubber bands and gloves- these come with the kit but we will need extra
table covers- we will do this outside but cover the tables so nothing is damaged or dyed
Heat Press Vinal to add the School logo to the front of the shirt
T-shirts for students- students will also be encouraged to bring in a shirt for this event.
