Goal

I will use the light table, sensory table, and tools to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills with play-based activities.

What will be done with my students

Many different tools, such as crystal building bricks, translucent buttons, pattern blocks, letters, numbers and geometric shapes, will be used to challenge the students. They will build, sort, stack and match a variety of objects. Various sensory activities (sand, water, shaving creme, etc...) will also be incorporated to enhance their learning environment.

Benefits to my students

The various tools and sensory activities provided by the light table and four bucket sensory table will benefit the students by making learning exciting, fun, and hands-on. Their senses will be engaged, thus facilitating a well-rounded educational experience.
