Impact to My Classroom

# of Students Impacted: 100

The impact of this grant was felt by all my of students during the fourth nine weeks of school while we are all learning/teaching from home thanks to COVID-19. The $50 grant money afforded me the ability to buy ink for my printer since I was not able to go to school and use devices there. I was able to print materials for students who had no Internet acces. I was able to print records to track student grades. I was also able to prepare materials for the coming school year and print those from home. Thank you for this load off of my finances. It was greatly appreciated.

Original Grant Overview

Goal

My goal is to replace my black and blue ink cartridges in my home printer so that I can continue to print materials for students needing paper packets as well as print pages so that I can keep track of activity, time, and grades for my students.

What will be done with my students

The ink will allow me to continue to print reports in FOCUS in order to record accurate data (time, activities, grades...etc) in order to calculate grades for students. I will also be able to print from my own safe home for students who need paper packet materials. This will lighten the load of my family having to provide this ink for me in order to complete school activities. I would usually print from school, but that is not an option now.

Benefits to my students

I will be able to provide documentation to my administration on how I calculated student grades during this pandemic. It should ease the minds of any parents or students who may question how I came up with the grades.

Budget Narrative

The actual costs of the ink were .98 higher than the $50 cap. I am willing to pay that for the graciousness of the $50!

Simply, the ink above, black and cyan, will enable me to be able to print again. I am currently out of ink.
