Goal

To purchase official dress for low income students participating in a new FFA program.

What will be done with my students

Our students will be participating in Career Development Events. These events will introduce them to many different career opportunities in the Agriculture industry. Students will learn about agri marketing, agri business, veterinary practices, urban agriculture and many other areas.

Students are required to wear official dress consisting of FFA Jacket, white dress shirt, tie/scarf and black slacks/skirt to participate in the events.

Benefits to my students

These event/competitions build self esteem, industry knowledge as well as employability skills, they also allow students to interact with leaders from different facets of the agriculture industry. Many students use this experience to gain employement and to compete for college scholarships.
