Goal

Students will use the iPads to operate the STEAM classroom set of Sphero Bolt Bots.

What will be done with my students

The Sphero Bolt lessons include everything from engineering bridges for the bots to cross, learning to code, and even painting with the bots. There are so many Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math activities that can be used with the Sphero Bolts that allow the students to actively explore and learn. The STEAM classroom has 24 new Sphero Bolts, but we do not have the iPads that are needed to control, code, and guide them.

Benefits to my students

The iPads will allow the students to be actively involve in the activities while controlling, coding and guiding the bot. It will give our Maude Saunders Elementary students opportunities to explore and open a new creative technological environment for them to learn in. Our students are so excited to begin this new STEAM journey.

Budget Narrative

Each iPad is $89.95. We are asking for 16 iPads. This will bring the total to $1439.20.
