Goal

My goal is to have 1:1 technology for my students to conduct research and drive instruction with the use of technology.

What will be done with my students

Students will use the technology for studies on various topics, they will use programs like epic! for reading books and PebbleGo for research projects as well as Flocabulary and My Path. Scholastic News and Storyworks is a great resource that is used daily and Accelerated Reader tests students on comprehension. Students will be working on research projects throughout the year and will use a variety of sources to complete!

Benefits to my students

This grant will help my students to learn with differentiated instruction with devices that can be used as a whole class, instead of only in small group. This will benefit my students who are below level to gain support aside from core instruction without taking away from the other students, technology can be used as a great tool for research on different topics as well as whole group instruction through technology.
