Goal

To have small group sets of iPads to increase students' ability to access information easily while in a small group setting.

What will be done with my students

Students will use the iPads in a small group setting to access electronic articles and information to help them better understand the material presented. It will also benefit my ELL students during small groups by allowing them to translate words that they do not understand easily.

Benefits to my students

Information that students quickly access allows them to make connections to what they are reading and allows my ELL students to comprehend better what they are reading. The iPads will also help the ELL students to be able to communicate with the teacher.

Budget Narrative

Using iPads in small groups with low-performing students allows them to understand better what they are reading and allows the ELL students to translate unknown words that they have not learned yet, along with creating better communication between the teacher and students. Three iPads will be sufficient for the small groups that I have in my classrooms at this time.
