What will be done with my students

The need for technology tools in the classroom nowadays is undeniable. For example, students require headphones for personalized learning in the utilization of apps such as Lexia and Edmentum (Exact Path). Stylus pens will be extremely beneficial to students when engaged in Magma Math, an application that allows students the ability to use a digital whiteboard to show their process of problem solving. Oftentimes, extra Chromebook chargers are needed to ensure that the battery does not die on students during district and statewide testing. Privacy screens will also be beneficial for these purposes. All the materials requested will be utilized throughout the year to keep students engaged in their learning. This will impact two classrooms with 22 students each during this school year, as well as many classes in the years to come.

Benefits to my students

1. Device Acquisition: Upon receiving funding, we will purchase the specified devices and materials from reliable suppliers to ensure quality.
2. Distribution: Devices will be distributed to classrooms and designated areas for student use.
3. Training: Staff will provide training sessions for students on how to use the materials properly and effectively.

By acquiring these items (headphones, Chromebook chargers, screen wipes, stylus pens, a photo printer, privacy screens, an iPad, and a color printer with ink) we expect to see increased productivity and enhanced learning in the following areas:

-Improved engagement in educational settings through interactive tools like stylus pens.
-Opportunities for hands-on projects and creative assignments using printers.
-Better access to printing and creative tools for students and teachers.
-Enhanced ability to produce high-quality print materials in various formats.
-Reduced electronic waste with reliable chargers extending device life.
-Positive feedback from staff or students regarding the usability and effectiveness of new equipment.

We will collect survey results biannually to analyze both student and teacher responses to the purchased technology materials and their positive impact on the classroom and increase in digital learning.
